Trinity Beach – Cairns Northern Beaches
Trinity Beach, 15 minutes from the Airport and 20
minutes from Cairns CBD, is part of the Cairns
Northern Beaches. Sheltered by the Great Barrier
Reef, the northern beaches are ideal to relax in,
entertain or tour as you choose.
Trinity Beach is the most favourite beach for locals
and tourists; both domestic and international. It is
a family friendly beach that has a gradually sloping
entry into the water, a safety swimming enclosure, a
lifeguard patrolled beach all year round, electric
BBQs for family enjoyment dotted along Vasey
Esplanade, a beachside children’s playground as well
as several other parks and playgrounds scattered
throughout the community. It is also a romantic
getaway for couples and honeymooners with its
stunning beachfront accommodation choices, large
balconies, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and
intimate al fresco restaurants.
The choice of restaurants and cafes is plentiful,
offering a multitude of cuisines. The shops and
services offer most of what a visitor would want on
holiday.
Trinity Beach is far from the maddening crowds but
close enough to sample the fabulous tours and
attractions this region has to offer. A mere 5
minutes to a world championship golf course, 10
minutes to Tjapukai Cultural Centre Park as well as
the world famous Skyrail where you experience
gliding in a gondola just metres above the
rainforest and over the spectacular Barron Gorge. 20
minutes away is the departure point for the Great
Barrier Reef or fly in a helicopter over the reef.
The pristine and primeval Daintree Rainforest is a 1
¼ hour drive along the stunning Captain Cook scenic
Highway. Self-drive or take a guided tour. And you
have horse-riding on the beaches or drive for an
hour to the Atherton Tablelands to experience the
lion safari park, swimming in rock pools and under
waterfalls, Coffee, Liquors and Tropical fruits and
Hot Air Ballooning.
And at the end of the day come home to your relaxing
tropical haven, Trinity Beach.
Fitness enthusiasts will be delighted at the range
of walking and running tracks which lend themselves
perfectly for exercise as well as a gym, Curves,
tennis and squash courts and a day spa. Beach
activities range from swimming, boogie boarding,
kayaking & fishing.
