Kuranda Koala Gardens and Birdworld Kuranda are two boutique wildlife attractions at the Heritage Markets in the heart of Kuranda Village. Koala Gardens has a range of Australian iconic species in addition to Koalas including wombats, gliders, possums, quokkas and more. Right next door Birdworld Kuranda is one of Australia’s largest free-flying mixed emersion aviaries with over 400 Australian native and exotic birds, with wonderful photographic opportunities.

The Reef Magic Cruises high-speed catamaran departs daily directly from Cairns to the sheltered Marine World activity platform located a quick 90-minute transfer and is approximately 50km due east of Cairns.
